MISSOURI — Law enforcement agencies continue to search for Steven Andrew Bowman, who is wanted in multiple Missouri counties for child sex crimes, including a sexual assault case in St. Clair County.
The Bates County Sheriff’s Office, working alongside the United States Marshals Service, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, and Clinton Police Department, has been attempting to locate Bowman for more than two years.
In a press release, Bates County says Bowman is wanted in four jurisdictions. In St. Clair County, he is charged with one count of sexual assault — sodomy or attempted sodomy — with a bond set at $250,000 cash or surety.
