Zulema "Sue" Garza, 68.
Zulema "Sue" Garza passed away on August 31, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, at the age of 68. Born on September 30, 1955, in Weslaco, Texas, Sue’s life was a testimony to her unwavering faith, generous love and beautiful spirit.
Sue's early years were spent in Beeville, TX. On March 3, 1973, Sue married her sweetheart, Ernest Garza, in Beeville. The couple's enduring devotion to each other was the foundation upon which they built a beautiful life and family, including their three children, Brenda, Ernie and Amanda. The family moved to Branson from Victoria, Texas twenty-four years ago and Sue greatly enjoyed living in Branson.
Sue loved God with her whole heart. She was a faithful member and served as part of the church office staff of Bloom Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and her passing will leave an enduring gap in the Bloom Church family.
Sue is survived by her husband, Ernest Garza of Branson; children, Brenda Garza Collins, Ernie Garza (Sarah), and Amanda Garza Carlton (Michael) all of Branson; her mother Amelia Ramos of Branson; her siblings Johnny Ramos (Becky) of Beeville, Armando Ramos (Dolores) of Beeville, Danny Ramos (Blanca) of Beeville, Eleu Ramos (Jackie) of Rockport, TX, and Mary Todd (Jon) of Branson; along with her ten adored grandchildren, and three precious great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father José Ramos and sister, Yolanda Ramos.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at Bloom Church on September 13, 2024 at 6:00 pm.
