William “Bill” Eugene Link, age 79, of Branson, Missouri.
William “Bill” Eugene Link, age 79, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on April 25, 2024. He entered this life on June 15, 1944, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, the son of Weston and Nodine (Steinke) Link. Bill was joined in marriage on February 14, 2002, to Rea Rickerson.
Serving in the United States Air Force for thirteen years, Bill received an Air Force Commendation Medal and citation distinguishing himself by meritorious service while assigned to the computer systems section. Before serving in the Air Force, he graduated from Barron High School. Bill attended many colleges earning multiple Bachelor of Arts degrees. He had many careers throughout his lifetime that included master electrician, master plumber, and computer technology.
Bill had a passion for working on old cars and trucks. He enjoyed spending time reading, using computers, and taking rides in the desert. Bill was known for his quiet demeanor and his love for observing and learning. He was a beloved husband, father, and stepfather, and his memories will be cherished forever.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Weston and Nodine Link; and brother, James Link.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Rea Link; children; stepchildren; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
No memorial services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org).
