Wanda Jayne Maddocks

Wanda Jayne Maddocks, 87, passed away on August 19, 2025.

Wanda Jayne Maddocks, 87, of Diamond City, Arkansas, passed away peacefully, at her home, with her family by her side on August 19, 2025.  Wanda was born in San Angelo, Texas, on February 7, 1938, the daughter of Aubrey and Etta (Blaylock) Lacky.

Wanda was such a sweet person and so caring. She enjoyed listening to classical and rhythm and blues music. Wanda liked to bake, she adored her cats. Throughout Wanda’s life she has always thrived to help others, whether it was at a food bank or a thrift store. She had a be heart and was a giver. Wanda loved her community and the people in it. Also, Wanda appreciated games, poker and bingo contributed to some fun times.  She relished spending time with her local friends and going out to dinner with them. 

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband John Maddocks, her daughter Cinda Correa, her two sons Randy Franklin and Christopher Brown.  
She is survived by her son Tony Brown, grandchildren Christi and Anthony, her sister Dianne (Leighton) Title and numerous great grandchildren.

Wanda will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her. Wanda’s remains will be laid to rest beside her late husband John at Milum cemetery in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
