Virginia Louise Miers, age 88, of Aurora, Missouri
Virginia Louise Miers, age 88, of Aurora, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Cassville Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Missouri.
She was born June 10, 1934 in Lomax, Illinois the daughter of Joseph Wendell and Edith Mae (Klopping) Sparrow. On August 10, 2016 in Cassville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Rex Eaton, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Darrell Miers of Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Carol MacAuley of Pocatello, Idaho and Charyl Miers of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Elaine Bowden of San Bernadino, California and Helen Batson of Waukesha, Wisconsin and three grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her parents.
Virginia worked at H&R Block in Omaha as an accountant for several years. Some of her favorite pastimes were crocheting, tending to her flowers, doing word search puzzles and spending time outdoors. She was a member of Community Faith Chapel in Cassville.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Community Faith Chapel in Cassville, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Doug Fare will conduct the services.
