Thomas Lee Gliem, age 71, of Merriam Woods, MO
Thomas Lee Gliem, age 71, of Merriam Woods, Missouri, passed away on July 29, 2021. He entered this life on September 10, 1949, in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Virgil and Margaret (Terris) Gliem. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Charles “Chuck” Gliem and Randy Gliem.
A jack of all trades, Thomas worked throughout his life as a construction worker and continued the enjoyment on his time off fixing and building anything he could. He was a collector of Zippo lighters and enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Thomas was a jokester at heart and was loved by everyone. He had a heart that was amazing and to all who knew him, he was family. Thomas will be greatly missed and cherished forever.
He is survived by his son, Scott (Laurie) Gliem of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; companion, Trisha Jones of the home in Merriam Woods, Missouri; and three grandchildren: Bryan, Tylar, and Jordan.
