Tanya Lynn Parker was born November 23, 1964 in Mexico, Missouri to Ronald & May Heriford. She earned a Master’s Degree and used her knowledge and gifts as a marriage counselor with Focus on the Family.
Tanya married Robert Parker on July 4, 2010 in Nixa, MO. They moved to Branson a year ago from Cassville, MO. Tanya was a follower of Christ and member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fordland. She enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, reading and thrift store shopping. She had a deep love for her family and cherished time with her grandchildren.
Tanya entered into rest on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Cox Medical Center Branson at the age of 57.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald & May and her sister, Twyla.
Tanya is survived by her loving husband, Robert of Branson; daughters, Cassandra Cowan of The Colony, TX and Carmen Broesder of Napa, ID and eight grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, Daniel Heriford of Madera, CA, Martin Heriford of St. Louis, MO and Ronda Heriford of Mount Vernon, MO along with her sister-in-law, Janet Parker of Kansas City, KS.
A celebration of Tanya’s life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Citizens Church, 113C Business Park Dr., Branson, MO.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
