Stanley “Stan” Eugene Evans, age 79, of Kansas City, Missouri
Stanley “Stan” Eugene Evans, age 79, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away March 9, 2023. He entered this life September 2, 1943, the son of Harold and Helen (Sievering) Evans in Kansas City, Kansas.
Stan proudly served our country in the United States Marines. During his time in the military, for a period of time he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Stan earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a director of accounting. He enjoyed creating jewelry, reading books, and watching football and baseball. Stan will be missed by all who knew him.
Stan is survived by his daughter, Melanie; sister, Chris Cadwell; brother, Michael Scott Evans; many nieces and nephews; many great-niece and great-nephews; and special niece, Renee Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Stan will be interred 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 South Southwood Rd, Springfield, Missouri 65804. Services and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.cremationsoftheozarks.com
