Stan Wooten, age 68, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home.
He was born July 17, 1953 in Cassville, Missouri, the son of Lavern and Billie (Black) Wooten, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one son, Stanley Allen Murphy.
Surviving are one son, Brent Kerfoot of Exeter, Missouri; one daughter, Aundrea Sweeten and her husband Gary of Neosho, Missouri and three grandchildren.
Stan grew up and received his education in Exeter, Missouri graduating from Exeter High School in 1972, later taking some college courses. Being a self-employed mason and carpenter, he enjoyed working with his hands. Some of his favorite pastimes were tinkering with his truck and hot rods in his younger years. He loved talking to people, was well read and would rescue any animal, including hawks.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
