Sonya Leah Edmonson, age 46, passed away on January 16, 2026.
Sonya Leah Edmonson, age 46, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at Northwest Medical Center surrounded by her family on January 16, 2026. Sonya was born on October 12, 1979, in Harrison, Arkansas, the daughter of Donald and Jeanie (McCauley) Tomlinson.
She graduated from Harrison High School, attended North Arkansas College, and chose to take a job in banking and made that her lifelong passion. She loved serving her customers and considered that an important part of her life. We will always remember her quick wit, her ability to pull the most creative pranks, her love of family traditions, and her love and fierce loyalty to family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Warren and Ellenora Tomlinson, infant cousin, Warren Cole. Mother and father in-law, Sonny and Bertha Edmonson, infant cousin Atticus Thompson.
She is survived by the love of her life, Scotty Edmonson, sons Westin Edmonson, Sawyer Edmonson, stepsons Brett Edmonson (Brooke) and Drew Edmonson. Parents, Donald and Jeanie Tomlinson, brother James Tomlinson (Erica Nixon), nephew Owen Sisco, grandparents John and Willie McCauley, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will miss her greatly.
Fulfilling her wishes, Sonya will be cremated and a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, Sonya asked that donations be made to The Gideon International, or to a ministry of your choice.
