Sharon Premer

Sharon Premer of Harrison Arkansas, age 77.

Sharon Premer of Harrison Arkansas, age 77, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Booneville, Missouri in 1948, she was the daughter of Raymond and Emma Oerly.

Sharon grew up on a farm just outside Bunceton, Missouri, where she graduated high school. She held several jobs over the years but always worked in a business type role ranging from State Farm Insurance to owning her own business, Carpetmaster, from which she retired. Sharon grew up attending the Lutheran church.

She was a simple, fiercely independent woman who loved her family. The light of her life was her grandchildren who she cherished until the end. Sharon enjoyed working in her flower gardens, putting puzzles together, her dogs, and was an amazing cook, never afraid of trying new things. In her retirement, Sharon worked part-time at Grant Ragland’s Law Firm in Harrison, Arkansas, which brought her so much joy and she dearly loved the people she worked with. She will be remembered for her kindness to everyone she knew. Sharon was very giving and all who knew her felt her love. She was quick to compliment and always had a smile and a hug for anyone within arm’s reach.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Kimberly Dees and husband Shannon Dees, her son Chris Fancler and wife Sheila Fancler, grandchildren Quentin Rodriguez, Samantha Fancler, Abigail Fancler, her brother Jim Oerly and wife Darlene Oerly, sister Shirley Hein, several nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and details will be posted on Facebook. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ozark Humane Society in her name. They do so much to help low-income families with pet care and Sharon would appreciate it so much if you could help that cause.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation, located in Lead Hill, Arkansas. Condolences may be left at www.DiamondStateCremation.com.
