Sandra “Sue” Gross

Sandra “Sue” Gross 77, of Ridgedale.

Cherished mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, Sandra “Sue” Gross 77, of Ridgedale passed away June 6, 2025 in Branson. Sue was born May 26, 1948 in San Antonio Texas to William and Florene (Clevenger) Thurman.

Sue was a lifetime resident of the area attending both Nixa and Branson schools before beginning work in area restaurants where she enjoyed serving and being around the people who came in for the food and company. Sue went on to work in the local grocery store where she helped assist in the deli department. Sue had a devotion of love for family and church which developed a tradition of love through her children, grandchildren and surrounding family that led to many large family gatherings. Sue took special interest in supporting her grandkids in their sporting and special events. Sometimes you would find Sue outside on the porch enjoying the outdoors and looking at the beauty surrounding her, reading, and thinking of games to play with all the special people in her life especially with her sister who she loved to play scrabble with. She was not without an adventurous side, because Sue did learn how to ride a motorcycle that was brought to her by her husband Billy, so she was up to taking on new challenges.

Sue is preceded in her passing by former husband Billy Gross, son Kevin Gross, her parents, and sisters Shirley “Vonnie” Gross, Sharon “Kay” Garcia, Grandchild Ryan Mayfield, and Great Grandchild Selah Tyler.
