Roxanne L. McIntire, age 83, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025 at her home.
She was born March 15, 1942 in Joliet, Illinois the daughter of Ray and Levitta (Heath) Lantz. In 1999 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas she was united in marriage to Teddy McIntire, who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Jimmy McGee and wife Carla, Jeremy McIntire and wife Jacquelyn and Larry McIntire and wife Cassie; sisters, Leilani Stumbo and Sherri Staponski and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her daughter, Sandie and brother, Stanley.
Roxanne grew up and attended school in Joliet, Illinois. She was employed as a police officer in Joliet for several years from where she retired. Roxanne enjoyed wood carving, especially carving golf balls and crocheting, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
