Ronald William Voigt, age 83, of Ridgedale, Missouri.

Ronald William Voigt, age 83, of Ridgedale, Missouri, passed away July 28, 2025, at his home. He entered this life on January 3, 1942, the son of Erick and Florence (Riewe) Voigt in Chicago, Illinois.

After his retirement, Ron moved from Chicago, Illinois, to Branson, Missouri, and he opened the Doll Depot in Downtown Branson. While taking his break outside, he spotted a beautiful red head working at Noel’s Barbar Shop. They struck up a friendship, fell in love, and were united in marriage on September 21, 1996. They retired in the early 2000s and enjoyed traveling and taking several cruises with friends.

Ron enjoyed his solitude and was often found sitting outside on the porch enjoying the view. Joanne and he spent their Friday and Saturday mornings going to yard sales and Sunday afternoons working at their flea market booth.

Ron is survived by his daughter, Kimberly and husband, Tom Hecht of Chicago, Illinois; stepson, Keith Wilson and wife, Colleen of Harrison, Arkansas; grandson, Erick Hect and wife Lauren; granddaughter, Kelli Hecht of Chicago, Illinois; stepgrandsons: Layton (Codi) Wilson of Cleveland, Missouri, and Ryan Wilson of Harrison, Arkansas; step-great-grandchildren: Emery, Dawson, and Sunni Wilson of Cleveland, Missouri; and sister-in-law, Carole Voigt of Branson, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joanne Wilson Voigt; two brothers: Richard and Robert; and sister, Constance.

Ronald will be inurned at a later date.
