Ronald “Ron” Frank DeBrase, age 79, of Hollister, Missouri.
Ronald “Ron” Frank DeBrase, age 79, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away July 19, 2025, with family by his side. He entered this life on July 27, 1945, the son of Daniel and Ann (Landean) DeBrase in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1985, Ron was joined in marriage to Sandy in Joliet, Illinois.
Ron proudly served our Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his time in the service, he worked as a retail manager for many years. With a gregarious personality, Ron was a wonderful friend and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was easy to talk to and fun to be around. Ron enjoyed watching football and was a fan of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Ron was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Ron is survived by his daughter, Michelle Castelli of Galena, Missouri; son, Ryan Auger and wife, Tiffany of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughter, Sherry Straw and husband, Paul of Massachusetts; two grandchildren: Cody Castelli of Galena, Missouri, and Cole Castelli of Illinois; and cat, Nugget. He is also survived by his siblings: Daniel DeBrase, Ann Marie Wing, Laureen DeBrase, and James DeBrase; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandy DeBrase; and son-in-law, David Castelli.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2025, at Cremations of the Ozarks, 115 Industrial Park Dr., Hollister, Missouri.
