Robert Martin Marsden, age 90, of Hollister, Missouri
Robert Martin Marsden, age 90, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away on January 15, 2023. He entered this life on July 15, 1932, in Villa Park, Illinois, the son of Louis and Minerva (Chappell) Marsden. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly Marsden; son-in-law, Eldon Eash; and four sisters.
With more than forty-five years in ministry, Robert was a true example of a Christian father and husband. He walked with God daily and ministered in Open Bible Churches. He is a self-published author, the name of his book is: When God Speaks, Listen. Robert enjoyed reading and collecting shark teeth as he had a jar full of them. He was a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and will be missed dearly.
Robert is survived by his four daughters: Kay (Ron) Mitchel of Branson, Missouri, Rhonda Johnson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Roberta Eash of Loves Park, Illinois, and Rita (Rusty) Langford in Kissee Mills, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Taney Center Corporation, 20130 US 160, Forsyth, Missouri 65653, with Chaplain Robert Pierce officiating.
