Robert “Bob” Erick Voigt, age 85, of Hollister, Missouri.
Robert “Bob” Erick Voigt, age 85, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away with family by his side on April 6, 2025. He entered this life on July 24, 1939, the son of Erick and Florence P. (Riewe) Voigt in Chicago, Illinois. Bob was joined in marriage on September 8, 1962, to Carole Ann Lannon.
With a gregarious heart, Bob was a faithful, loving husband for many years, a wonderful father, and a great friend. Carole and Bob were the former owners of The Red Lion Pub from 1988-2000. He possessed a great sense of humor and loved visiting with people. He enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, caring for the house and lawn, and playing slots at casinos. The memories and moments created throughout his life will be treasured by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Carole Voigt; children: Vicki (Mike) Murtaugh, and John (Terri) Voigt; grandson, Dustin (Ciara) Murtaugh; great-grandson, Lochlan Murtaugh; grandson, Michael (Candace) Murtaugh, Jr.; great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Murtaugh, Danica Murtaugh and brother, Ronald Voigt.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Connie Boudreau; and brother, Richard Voigt.
