Ricky “Rick” Lee Chapman, age 68, passed away on March 16, 2026.
Ricky “Rick” Lee Chapman, age 68, of Protem, Missouri, passed away March 16, 2026. He entered this life on August 22, 1957, the son of Howard and Marion Anna “Lucille” (Upky) Chapman in Claremore, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents. Rick was joined in marriage to Sharon Lynn Darden on May 22, 1999.
Having a heart for adventure, Rick enjoyed his work as an over the road truck driver. When he was not diving on the open road, Rick loved his life on the lake. He enjoyed fishing from his bass boat, scuba diving, riding on his pontoon, as well as flying RC helicopters. The memories Rick created with his family will be cherished for many years.
Rick is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Sharon Chapman of Protem, Missouri; daughter, Amber McCoy and husband, Robert of Texas; step-son, Samuel Darden of Norwood, Missouri; brothers: Mike Chapman and wife, Slyvia of Oologah, Oklahoma, and Glen Chapman and wife, Sandy of Theodosia, Missouri; and sister, Mary Taber and husband, Kendall of Theodosia, Missouri.
