Paula Jo Cole

Paula Jo Cole, 66, of Yellville, Arkansas.

Paula Jo Cole, 66, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away on April 29, 2025, at Baxter Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. On April 17, 1959, Paula was born in the small town of Garnett, Kansas to the proud parents Paul and Nadine Skillman. She was the third of five children.

Paula enjoyed fishing and cooking and for some unknown reason she loved cleaning. This was a trait that annoyed her children as she would be vacuuming at 3:00AM most mornings, but it became an appreciated peculiarity. After family gatherings, we would find her cleaning, no matter whose house it was. She cleaned with love.

Paula and Chuck only got to spend a short 34 years of marriage together, but they enjoyed those times riding motorcycles together. The two of them would travel all the back roads, discovering new towns and new flea markets. You never know where your favorite place is until you find it.

Above all else, she loved her family, especially her husband, children and grandchildren. Paula was so excited and looking forward to the birth of her great-grandson Asher, expected in August.

Paula is preceded in death by both of her parents Paul and Nadine, three brothers, King Kenny the Kind, Daryl and Larry, both of her beautiful sisters Keeta and Pam and Travis her nephew.

She is survived by her husband Charles “Chuck” Cole of Yellville, Arkansas, her children Justin (Stacy) Hardman of Eudora, Kansas, Josh Hardman of Yellville, Arkansas, Misty (Matt) Hudson of Jasper, Alabama, Patricia (Brian) Hall of Eudora, Kansas, Teresa Butcher of Yellville, Arkansas and Charley (Corey) Daniels of Lane, Kansas, and grandchildren Andre Whitson, Allison Hardman, Dakota Thieme, Aiden Leftwich, Brian Hall II, Christian Cox, Katelynn Thieme, Haley Hardman, Conner Robinson, Billy Robinson, Sophia Hardman, Cleveland Hall, Amelia Robinson, Shelby Hudson, Trenton Provence, Evan Hall, Jacob Hardman, Patrick Butcher, Charles Hardman and John Maddox Hudson. Also, Paula leaves behind her brother Rick (Rita) Skillman and many amazing nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Paula will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.
