Patrick Callahan, age 68 of Branson, Missouri

 

Patrick Callahan, 68 of Branson, entered into rest on December 8, 2022 at Cox Medical Center Branson.  Visitation will be Monday evening, December 12 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 13 at the Sanctuary of Hope Church, 1790 Bee Creek Rd., Branson, MO.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM and the funeral service at 3:00 PM.  Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.

Patrick Brennan Callahan was born on March 22, 1954 to Neil & Ruth Callahan.  He moved to Branson from Chicago, IL.  Patrick’s life was a testimony to the grace and mercy he had been shown and Branson was his mission field to spread the Good News.  He would walk the streets of Branson carrying a cross as part of his witness to Christ’s sacrificial love.  He currently attended the Healing River Worship Center in Walnut Shade.

Patrick was the loving father of Neil Callahan and Eileen Hermann who continue to reside in Chicago and the grandfather of Madeline, Moira, Kevin Jr. and Caroline Hermann.  Patrick also leaves one sister, Marynell Callahan of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Patrick was a giving man.  He had been given much and his cup overflowed to others.  He also loved the favorite American pastime, baseball, and was always a fan of the World Series regardless of who was playing.  While his death saddens us, we rejoice that he now sees face to face the one who hung on the cross for him and we will join him again one day soon.
