Norma Lea Williamson, age 92, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
She was born November 30, 1932 in Cassville, Missouri the daughter of Arthur and Edith (Writer) Dilbeck. On May 11, 1951 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas she was united in marriage to Rondal Gene “Tex” Williamson, who preceded her in death on September 24, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Kelley Williamson; two brothers, Lloyd Dilbeck and Floyd Dilbeck and two sisters, Arvilla Meador and Irene Snyder.
Surviving are her daughter, Rhonda Craig and her husband David of Cassville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Sheena Bittle and her husband Tim of Wheaton, Missouri, Clay Craig and his wife Whitney of Cassville, Missouri, Kendal Rose and her husband Trey of Cassville, Missouri and Ty Craig and his wife Ashlynn of Cassville, Missouri and eight great grandchildren, Jacob Bittle, Jozy Bittle, Corbin Rose, Layten Craig, Tinley Rose, Kayden Craig, Kazleigh Rose and Palmer Craig.
Norma Grew up and attended school in Cassville, Missouri graduating from Cassville High School in 1951. She was employed by the Barry County Recorders Office from 1952 until 1962, she and Tex owned and operated 7 Valleys Motel in Cassville from 1962 until 1987 and from 1987 until 2009 she worked at Williamson’s Jewelry in Cassville. Norma enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers, sewing and embroidery, but most of all she loved her grandkids and great grandkids. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Dallas LaCaze will conduct the services. Burial will be at Sparks Cemetery in Butterfield, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
