Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Williams, 89, passed away on September 5, 2025.

Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Williams, age 89, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, Arkansas.

She was born January 4, 1936 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of John and Mary Helen (Emhoff) Ballard. On August 23, 1980 she was united in marriage to Charles Williams in Busch, Arkansas, who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Steven Lazaroe and husband David of Rogers, Arkansas, Randall Williams and wife Donna of Sacramento, California, William Lazaroe and wife Cindy of Tampa, Florida, Mike Williams and wife Jo of Paradise, California, Tony Lazaroe and wife Candy of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Ricky Williams and wife Olga of Sacramento, California, Charles Casey of Berryville, Arkansas and Edward Casey of Fayetteville, Arkansas; daughters, Pam Cannon of Covington, Louisiana, Dwella Williams of California and Leeta Bailey and husband Jay of Florida; brothers, Kenneth Ballard of Texas and Gilbert Ballard and wife Marty of Avoca, Arkansas; 20 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Carla C. Lazaroe; brother, Johnny Ballard and sister, Carol Ann Foust.
Mary Lou grew up and went to school in Dallas, Texas. She was co-owner of Charlie’s Cabin and Canoe Rentals. Mary Lou had lived in the Missouri and Arkansas areas since 1978. Some of her favorite pastimes were embroidering, crocheting, quilting, and reading. She enjoyed visiting with her friends and was a member of Ozark Country Quilters, Set-N-Sew, Ladies Luncheon, and was also a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 12, 2025 at New Salem Baptist Church in Seligman, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Perry Morgan will conduct the services. Burial will be at Seligman Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri.

Contributions may be made to Missouri Council of the Blind in memory of Mary Lou.
