Mary Lou Bilyeu, age 65, of Branson, Missouri
Mary Lou Bilyeu, age 65, of Branson, Missouri, passed away April 17, 2026. She entered this life on February 17, 1961, the daughter of Glen and Mickey (Sanders) Bilyeu in Branson, Missouri. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Tony Page and Farris Bilyeu; husband, Ron Campbell; and beloved pets: Molly, Maggie, Mr. Wilson, and Kitty Obama.
With a passion for music, Mary excelled at playing the bass fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and was also a talented singer. She enjoyed creating music with loved ones, designing beautiful wreaths and arrangements, going to bluegrass festivals, talking about the Bible and politics, attending church, and listening to music especially Emmylou Harris. Throughout her career, Mary worked as a house keeper and took great pleasure in assisting others with maintaining tidy environments. She belonged to the Elks club for more than a decade and was enthusiastic about contributing to her community.
Mary took great pride in her role as a mother and valued being able to attend her family’s special events, particularly their musical performances and athletic competitions. She held a special spot in her heart for Halloween, Christmas, and caring for her pets. The memories and moments created throughout her life will be cherished by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Christal Valbracht, Sandra Johnson, and William Valbracht and wife, Nicki; grandchildren: Kingsley, Christopher, Olivia, Avery, Nicholas, Taylor, and Colton; sisters: Linda Henderson and Sue Brown; brother, Elzy Bilyeu and wife, Vicky; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
There will be a memorial service held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 28,2026, at Walnut Shade Baptist Church, 8309 US-160, Walnut Shade, Missouri, with Pastor Victor Fisher officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Walnut Shade Baptist Church, 8309 US-160, Walnut Shade, Missouri.
