Marcia's melodious voice and vibrant spirit gave way to great memories of singing alongside her sister Betty. Marcia traveled with the USO, performing for stateside audiences and sharing her talent of singing. Later in life Marcia joined into a quartet of ladies in Oregon that shared her passion of singing. Her love for music was matched only by her skill in arts and crafts, where she excelled in liquid embroidery with trichem, earning accolades for her exquisite creations.

Beyond her artistic endeavors, Marcia's heart was always open to those around her. She dedicated thousands of hours over the span of twenty years volunteering in the Medical Community of Colorado Springs, touching lives with her kindness and selflessness.

An adventurous soul, Marcia found freedom on the back of a motorcycle, embracing the wide open spaces with the same enthusiasm she brought to every aspect of her life. She was equally at home on the dance floor, where she shared laughter and joy with friends and family, moving to the rhythm of life with an infectious energy.

Marcia's legacy is carried on by her beloved son, Roy Montgomery, who inherits her compassionate heart and zest for life, her two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren whom she loved beyond measure. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Hugh Montgomery, her parents, Elba and Rowena Palmer, her brother Bud Palmer, and her sister Betty Palmer. Each of them played a significant role in her journey, and their memories will continue to be cherished by all who knew Marcia.

Marcia Montgomery's life was a symphony of kindness, creativity, and love. Her memory will be held dear in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her spirit will continue to inspire acts of kindness and artistic expression for generations to come. As we bid farewell to Marcia, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible mark she has left on this world.
