Lucy Jane “Lou” Stewart, age 84, of Cassville, Missouri
Lucy Jane “Lou” Stewart, age 84, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Missouri.
She was born June 12, 1938 in Garfield, Arkansas the daughter of Ray and Jessie (Reeves) Tiner. On December 1, 1957 in Washburn, Missouri she was united in marriage to Gary Stewart, who preceded her in death on October 2, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Winnell Kochis and four brothers; Dale Tiner, Darrell Tiner, Robert Tiner and Harold Tiner.
Surviving are one daughter, Pamela Denbow of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one son, Shannon Stewart and his wife Carla of Cassville, Missouri; one brother, John Tiner and his wife Mary, of Cassville, Missouri and four grandchildren.
Lou graduated from Southwest High School, Washburn, Missouri in 1957. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Lou was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ in Cassville.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial will be at Pratt Cemetery in Pea Ridge, Arkansas.
Contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children’s Home in memory of Lou.
