Leroy C. Utter, age 67, of Joplin, Missouri.
Leroy C. Utter, age 67, of Joplin, Missouri, finished his earthly mission and departed this life on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas.
He was born September 4, 1956 in Shelton, Washington the son of Olin “Toney” and Mary (Pearson) Utter, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Toni Leann Elkins and Linda Holly and two sons, Johnny Carlin Utter and Travis Leroy Utter.
Surviving are one son, Toney Utter of Purdy, Missouri; five daughters, Stormy Holtzman of Kansas City, Missouri, Crystal Scott-Perryman of Springfield, Missouri, Tabatha Madison of Cassville, Missouri, Tandi Goutney and her husband Jessie of Cassville, Missouri, and Lyndi Utter of Cassville, Missouri; four step children, Chris Taylor, Robbie Rusher, Sherry Cutberth, and Danny “Boomer” Rusher; one brother, Larry Utter and his wife Pam of Rocky Comfort, Missouri and eight grandchildren, Tori, Levi, Trinity, Jordan, Audrey, Andon, Harley, and Seth.
Leroy grew up and attended school in Exeter, Missouri. He worked most of his life as a waste water supervisor in Exeter, Missouri. Leroy was a member of the Exeter Church of Christ. He enjoyed motorcycles, politics, playing guitar, fishing, hunting, playing pool, and really enjoyed trading all kinds of different things. Most important to Leroy were his family and friends and he loved to spend time with them.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Tony Intessimone will conduct the services. Burial will be at Chitwood Cemetery in Wheaton, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
