Kathy LeAnn Brisco, age 60, passed away on February 27, 2026.
Kathy LeAnn Brisco (née Dockins), age 60, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. Born on May 7, 1965, in Kennett, Missouri, Kathy was the cherished daughter of the late Ira Lee “Pete” Dockins and Jessie Dolores Dockins (née Baker).
Kathy graduated from Kennett High School in Kennett, Missouri, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with dedication and care for others. She pursued a career as a National Certified Pharmacy Technician and served her community for 27 years through her work with Walmart in Harrison and several other locations. Her commitment to her profession reflected her desire to make a positive impact on those around her. Beyond her professional life, Kathy found joy in connecting with others and exploring new places. She was an active member of the Harrison Arkansas Elks Lodge, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to her community.
In her free time, she delighted in traveling, embracing the opportunity to experience the world and create treasured memories. Kathy’s greatest pride and joy were her family. She is survived by her husband, Ron Brisco of Harrison, Arkansas; loving daughter, Jessica Abernathy and son-in-law, Aaron of Nixa, Missouri; her beloved granddaughter, Cadence Abernathy of Nixa; and her devoted brother, Keith Dockins and sister-in-law, Mildred of Paragould, Arkansas.
Kathy also leaves behind her niece, Karah Stalets and husband, Aaron of Omaha, Nebraska; great-nephews: Quincy and Riley Stalets of Omaha, Nebraska, as well as numerous cousins and friends spread across the United States who will remember her fondly. Kathy’s warmth and kindness touched all who knew her. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will be cherished by many. May Kathy’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her and inspire them to carry forward the love she so generously shared.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 7, 2026, at 01:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church, 7441 Hwy 14 West, Omaha, Arkansas. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
