Karyl Roger Barber, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving children. Born in Greenwich, NY, Karyl made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Karyl was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy and Hollis Barber, and his siblings Hollis, Richard, Nellie, Kathleen, and Larry. He is survived by his twin brother Carl Barber, brother Wallace Barber, and his cherished children: Jonathan Barber, Holly Stover, Jeff Barber, and Aimee Barber.
After relocating to San Diego, California, Karyl resided in the vibrant community of Ocean Beach. He enjoyed a fulfilling career at San Diego Gas & Electric Company, retiring at the age of 55. In retirement, Karyl spent his time enjoying the coastal beauty of his home and the warmth of his family.
A private celebration of life was held for the family. Karyl will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the love he shared with those around him.
