Karan Anne (Rannebarger) Gaines, age 60 of Branson, Missouri passed away on December 11, 2021. She was entered this life August 23, 1961, in Decatur, Illinois. Karan is preceded in death by parents Jo Sue (Everett) Coffee, stepfather Harold D. Coffee, and brother, Thomas J. Rannebarger.
Karan will be remembered for having a caring heart and a passion to help people, she worked at a nursing home and studied to be a nurse. She enjoyed camping, going to the lake and being in the outdoors. Karan was a wonderful cook and loved feeding her family and friends. She was a member of the Iglesia Pentecostal Church. The memories that Karan created with her loved ones will be held dearly.
She is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Gary Gaines of Branson, Missouri; daughter, Kimberly J. Thornton (Brandon Baker) of Carthage, Missouri; sons, Kevin Johnson of Florida, Anthony Roberts of St. Louis, Missouri, J.R. Baez of Texas, William Baez of Missouri, stepson, Gary Micheal Gaines of Missouri; many grandchildren; and sisters; Kimberly S. Rannebarger of Springfield, Missouri, and Robin Click (Todd), of Columbus, Ohio.
