Judy Ann Penrod, age 80, of Kimberling City, Missouri, passed away on March 7, 2022. She entered this life on June 29, 1941, in Falls City, Nebraska, the daughter of Ivan and Gene (Merritt) Hinton. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dan Penrod; and brother, Michael Hinton.
With a fun and loving heart, Judy cherished the time she spent taking care of her kids. She enjoyed trying her hand at the casinos and playing bingo and supporting her favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs. She was fond of working in her yard, tending to her garden, and fishing. Judy never met a stranger as she was friendly to all. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Judy is survived by her two daughters: Joy Overton and Penny Cone of Kimberling City, Missouri; son, Daniel (Janeece) Penrod; three grandchildren: Jorden Purinton, Kimberly Rankin, and Alyssa Penrod; three great-grandchildren: Zoey Purinton, Makennah Marquez, and Keighdon Lawson; and many nieces and nephews.
