Joyce Elaine Winland...
Joyce Elaine Winland entered into rest on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the age of 71 years, at Powersite, Missouri. She was born June 22, 1953, in Grapevine, Tx to Rum and Ruth (Martin) Tubbs. Joyce graduated from Grapevine High School, Grapevine, TX.
After graduating high school, she moved to Phoenix, Az. Here she worked at many jobs, starting as a waitress, went to beautician school and worked as a beautician and barber. Joyce wanted a change in occupation and went to Home Depot where she worked in the garden section, which she enjoyed. She retired and moved to Texas to be closer to family. Joyce moved to Powersite, Mo. about five months ago to once again be closer to family, who had previously moved.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Winland and her father Rum Tubbs.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Melissa Hoffman of Clover, South Caroline; her mother Ruth Trumbull of Forsyth, Mo.; brother John Tubbs of Forsyth, Mo.; sister Melissa Richardson of Forsyth, two granddaughters; and two companion dogs, Archie and Bruiser.
Local arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.
