Johnnie Lee Bruce, age 77, of Sparta, Missouri, passed away on February 22, 2022. She entered this world on May 10, 1944, in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of Noah and Sylvia (Duff) Howard. Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Howard; and half-sister, Dorothy Croft.
Johnnie enjoyed working on a variety of crafts. She enjoyed putting together puzzles and the satisfaction of watching older movies and T.V. shows especially westerns. Johnnie was a stay-at-home mom who loved baking and decorating cakes and appreciated spending time outdoors. She will be greatly missed, and the memories shared will be forever cherished.
Johnnie is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Bruce of Sparta, Missouri; son, Casey Bruce and wife, Kerensa of Springfield, Missouri; and daughter, Heather Bruce of Sparta, Missouri. She is also survived by two grandchildren: William Bruce of Sparta, Missouri, and Samantha Bruce of Springfield, Missouri; and two sisters: Elizabeth Snyder of Lake City, Arkansas, and Shirley Simpson of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
