John Harold Ray, age 66, of Eagle Rock, Missouri.
John Harold Ray, age 66, of Eagle Rock, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born October 7, 1955 in Nevada, Missouri the son of Orville and Mary Jane (Wheeler) Ray. On July 18, 1981 he was united in marriage to Sharon Barnum, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Carl Eugene Ray and his wife Cora of Butterfield, Missouri; one brother, Charles Ray of Lexington, Missouri; five grandchildren, Trey, Frankie, Jena, Kyliegh and Vinny; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two grandchildren, Ryliegh Jo Ray and Carl Eugene Ray, Jr.; four brothers, Tom Ray, Gene Ray, Carl Ray and Lonnie Ray and two sisters, Mary Briner and Sharon Schieber.
John grew up and attended school in Butler, Missouri. He was employed by Poe Concrete in Eagle Rock. Some of his favorite pastimes were mushroom hunting, working on cars and playing slot machines.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Christopher Moore will conduct the services. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville at a later date.
