John Edgar Hribovsek, age 83, of Galena, Missouri
John Edgar Hribovsek, age 83, of Galena, Missouri, passed away April 30, 2023, with family by his side. He entered this life April 11, 1940, the son of John and Emma (Gorley) Hribovsek in Neelyville, Missouri. John was joined in marriage to Betty June Lamb on February 18, 1983.
With a zest for sharing information, John loved to recreate memories by telling stories. He enjoyed fishing, spending time on his boat, and camping. During his working years, he worked as a crane operator throughout the United States. John was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. The memories created throughout his lifetime will be cherished forever.
John is survived by his wife of forty years, Betty Hribovsek of Galena, Missouri; children: John Hribovsek Jr. of North Carolina, Melissa Hribovsek of North Carolina, Ronda (Garrie) Lain of Arizona, and Kelly Moon of California; four grandchildren: Brittney, Josh, Amber, and Clifton; five great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Belinda) Hibovsek of Missouri; and sister, Elizabeth (John) Knapp of Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
