Jeffrey Alan “Jeff” Johnston, age 60, of Cassville, Missouri

Jeffrey Alan “Jeff” Johnston, age 60, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 in Cassville, Missouri.

            He was born April 7, 1963 in Carthage, Missouri the son of Donald Warner and Patricia (Kinser) Johnston. He was united in marriage to Teresa Artiz in Van Buren, Arkansas, who preceded him in death in March of 2016. Also preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, David Johnston and Michael Johnston and one sister, Cynthia Onek.

            Surviving are his stepmother, Ursula Johnston of Kent, Washington and two sisters, Meredith Olson of Kent, Washington and Vicki Van Stavern of Edmond, Oklahoma.

            Jeff attended school in Rockwall, Texas graduating from Rockwall High School. While studying mechanical engineering, Jeff was a cadet in the prestigious Texas A&M ROTC, and later attained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tulsa University. Jeff was a mechanical engineer at Boeing and was later self-employed as an independent consultant. He enjoyed body building, tennis, painting and playing the guitar.

            Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri.
