Janetta Sue Stevens, age 69, of Springfield, Missouri
Janetta Sue Stevens, age 69, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away January 19, 2022. She entered this life February 5, 1952, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Jesse and Myrtle Stevens.
Janetta was known as a kind and considerate soul, always taking care of others. She liked visiting casinos, especially the slot machines. The joy of her life was being with her grandchildren and sharing their love. She shared happiness wherever she was, and her memory will continue to bring smiles to faces for years to come.
Janetta is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Joyce Stevens, Janice, and Janie Stevens; brother-in-law, Smokey; and uncle, Jimmy Stevens.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Billie) Stevens of Springfield, Missouri; six grandchildren: Milo, Aaliyah, Makayla, Alexis, Shaquan, and Drake; one great-grandchild, Jakhylin; brother, John (Gwen) Stevens of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Judy (Jack) Goff of Denison, Texas; and Michelle’s father, Howard Johnson of Springfield, Missouri.
