James “Jim” Elroy Myers, age 82, of Kirbyville, Missouri.
James “Jim” Elroy Myers, age 82, of Kirbyville, Missouri, passed away June 22, 2025, at home, with family nearby. He entered this life January 29, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Hazel (Williams) Myers.
Jim proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was an artist and talented at drawing, painting, and creating beautiful and useful things. Jim collected many objects. He was a jokester and a hard worker. Jim will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAnn Myers; son, William Myers; and sisters: Faye and Patricia Harding.
Jim is survived by his son, James (Julie) Dean of Kirbyville, Missouri; four grandchildren: Adam, Alex, Greg, and E.J.; four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Michael (Patty) Myers of Grand Junction, Iowa, and Paul Myers of Ames, Iowa; four sisters: Judy (Nick) Nickerson of Ames, Iowa, Cindy (Ed) Pagon of Redwood City, California, Margaret (Norman) Nonweiler of Parkway, Illinois, and Mary (Brian) Smelser of Hampton, Virginia.
