James A. Nagel “Jim”, age 68, Taneyville, Missouri
James A. Nagel “Jim”, 68, Taneyville, entered rest on Wednesday, January 17, after a short illness. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo. Memorial services will be held at a later date with burial at the Lone Star Cemetery, Bradleyville, Mo.
James Allen Nagel was born Feb. 7, 1955 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Charles & Barbara (Smith) Nagel. He graduated from the Beason, Illinois High School and moved to Taney County in 1974 from Lincoln, Ill. Jim worked various jobs in the area. He was a bartender at the Red Lion Restaurant and a salesman for Lowes in the electrical department both businesses in Hollister.
Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing games on his computer, collecting Harley Davis motorcycles memorabilia and riding.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charles Lee Nagel.
Jim is survived by his brother and sister Calvin Nagel and Sharon Nagel both of Taneyville, Mo. and numerous nieces and nephews.
