Jake Justin Dimello, age 30, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025

Jake Justin Dimello, age 30, of Seligman, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Born August 4, 1995 in Pomona, California, he was the son of Richard DeMello and Vicky Barnes. Surviving are his mother, Vicky Barnes of Seligman, Missouri; father and stepmother, Richard and Shawna DeMello of Ventura, California; wife, Crystal Dimello; their children, Zeke Dimello, Emily Dimello, Brook Dimello and Avarice Whaley all of Cassville, Missouri; brothers, Jeremy Barnes and fiancée Kala of Purdy, Missouri and J.T. Hedstrom and wife Ashley of Seneca, South Carolina; nephews, Steven and Deecan Barnes; several other nieces and nephews; sisters, Shanell Shirley and husband Andy of Chino, California and Allie Mann and husband Zach Mann of Branson, Missouri as well as many other family and friends who loved Jake dearly. 

Jake grew up and went to school at Southwest R-5 in Washburn, Missouri. Trans-Tel employed him as a lineman worker for many years. He was studying to become an electrician at Northwest Arkansas Community College. Jake was baptized, and his faith was strong, and he believed in and loved Jesus. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and cooking. Jake loved having friends and family together and using his smoker, whether it was a deer he killed or bologna, he loved cooking on his smoker. He loved flying around on his motorcycles.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 25, 2025 at River of Faith Church, 4276 Rt KK, in Seligman, Missouri. Pastor Josh Cutberth will conduct the service.

Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
