Memorial services for Pastor Howard L. Kenyon, Taneyville will be Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10 AM at the Taneyville Union Chapel, Taneyville, Mo. David Koening will officiate with burial being held at a later date in the Cedar Valley Cemetery, Hollister, Mo. Pastor Kenyon went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Cox South in Springfield, Mo.
Howard was born April 2, 1943, in Ridgedale, Mo. to Otto and Audie (Gross) Kenyon. He was a lifelong resident of Taney County. Howard graduated from Brason High School and Liberty Bible Institute, Lynchburg, VA.
He married his sweetheart Charlotte Painter on Jan. 19, 1962, in Strafford, Mo. They had celebrated sixty-two years together. Howard when he was a young man worked at the Table Rock Trout Hatchery, then went into the sheet rock hanging business, the Lord called him to preach which he has preached for over thirty-five years. He ministered in Gainesville and Taneyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two children Howard, Jr. and Tinza, and three brothers Leonard, Bob, and Donnie.
Howard is survived by his loving wife Charlotte of the home, two daughters Christy Fox (Harold), and Terri Strom all of Branson; two brothers Harold Kenyon (Connie) of Golden, Mo, Glenn Kenyon (Annette) of Merriam Woods, Mo.; one sister Shirley Fullerton of Enid, OK, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo, 65653.
