Gregory “Greg” Mark Dufour, age 76, of Branson West, Missouri

Gregory “Greg” Mark Dufour, age 76, of Branson West, Missouri, passed away November 15, 2023. He entered this life August 5, 1947, in Charleston, West Virginia, the son of Watson and Vauna (Nutter) Dufour. He was joined in marriage December 21, 1968, to Cheryl Griffith.

Greg proudly served our country in the United States Navy and saw the world during the Vietnam War. He was a huge sports fan from his youth, especially fishing and golfing in his later years. Greg was a big hugger and was thrilled to be called G-pa by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was number one in his book. He always had a smile and thought of ways to pick on his family. Greg was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed greatly.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Peters; and three brothers: Keith, Mike, and Doug Dufour.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cheryl Dufour; daughter, Michele (Larry) Pierce of Branson, Missouri; three sons: Daniel (Deena) Dufour of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Derek (Kim) Dufour of Bakersville, North Carolina, and Brad (Emily) Dufour of Branson West, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Amanda, Amber, Shannon, Shaun, Zach, Kirsten, and Caidy; ten great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Chance, Kylie, Jocelyn, Brody, Rylee, Owen, Maddie, Noah, and Luna; two sisters-in-law: Becky Dufour of Anstead, West Virginia, and Betty Dufour of Mendota, Illinois; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
