Gerald L. “Hokey” Haddock, age 80, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at his home.
He was born June 6, 1942 in Cassville, Missouri the son of Virgil and Frona (Carlin) Haddock. On November 21, 1966 he was united in marriage to Alice Fields, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Shane Haddock of Missouri and Nashville, Tennessee; Deanna and Denise; one brother Ralph Haddock of Cassville, Missouri and one sister, Janet Poyner of Washburn, Missouri.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Rayburn Haddock and Butch Haddock and one sister, Elinor Aldridge.
Gerald attended school in Cassville, Missouri. He worked for Bob Cantwell doing construction work. He later owned and operated Haddock Painting until he retired. Gerald loved the Lord and taught his children the same. He enjoyed reading the Bible, hunting, fishing and just being outdoors but he especially loved his family.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Gerald.
