Gerald Eugene McClain, age 86, of Kimberling City, Missouri.
Gerald Eugene McClain, age 86, of Kimberling City, Missouri, dedicated Christian, devoted husband, loving father and kind-hearted soul went to his heavenly reward on August 26, 2024. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
He entered this life March 3, 1938, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the son of Orville Everett and Ruth Edna Bailey McClain. His first marriage was to Pat Nolan. His second marriage to Betty A. McClain was on July 28, 1984.
Gerald lived in Florida, Washington D.C. area, Colorado and Missouri. With a knowledge and understanding of computers, Gerald worked for many years as a systems programmer before computers were a common commodity.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores; and first wife, Pat Nolan.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Ann McClain; daughter, Pam Pierce of Eldorado, Missouri; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Jim McClain of Ocala, Florida; sister, Pat King of Temple Hills, Maryland; two stepdaughters: Catherine Jones of Durango, Colorado and Jacqueline Bartlett of Longmont, Colorado.
A private family memorial was held in Eldorado, Missouri. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
