George Carlos Woodson, 83, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2025, leaving behind a life filled with passion, adventure and love. He was born on April 24, 1942, in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Carlos was preceded in death by his father George Harold Woodson, his mother Willie Mae Botts Woodson and his brother Jimmy Woodson. He is survived by his wife Virginia (Kookie) Woodson, his sister Marilyn Brown and his children Breck Woodson, Cara Woodson, Clay Woodson and Chad Davenport, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was an avid outdoorsman, Carlos found joy in hunting and working on his property. He cherished his role as a husband to Virginia (Kookie) for 28 years and as a father to his children George Breck Woodson, Cara Woodson, Clay Woodson and Chad Davenport. He was a grandfather and great grandfather and enjoyed sharing his love for the outdoors with family. Carlos lived each day to the fullest.
Carlos’s adventurous spirit and boundless enthusiasm will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His wishes were to not have a funeral service, but his family will hold a private Celebration of Life in his memory.
