Gail McNish, 64 of Powersite, Missouri

Gail McNish, 64 of Powersite, entered into rest on Friday, December 30, 2022 at her home. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.

Gail was born on October 7, 1958 in Branson, Missouri.  She was raised in Forsyth by Lawrence & Lizzie Wolfe as well as her mother Marie (Wolfe) Jones.  Gail graduated in 1976 from Forsyth High School.  She was blessed with five children.  Gail was a loving and hardworking mom.  She cooked in the nursing home and did laundry at motels to provide for and raise her children.  She had attended Community Church in Powersite and enjoyed the ministry of Rev. Bill Austin.

Gail was preceded in death by her father, Willis “Shiner” Jones; mother, Vada Marie (Wolfe) Jones; and one son, Brent Davis.

She is survived by her children, Timothy McNish of Powersite, David Davis of Powersite, Korey Franklin (Angelina) of Nixa, Shawna Davis (Casey Sturgis) of Springfield; sisters, Connie Vanderploeg (Harry) of Forsyth and Marilyn Cook (Richard) of Forsyth; grandchildren, Trenton Sturgis, Aiden Sturgis, Henry James McNish, Kaydence Sadler, Kaedrin Franklin and Lydia Franklin; her boyfriend, Dick Blanton and other extended family and friends.

Her love, care and presence will be deeply missed.
