Era Mae Vick, age 55, of Kirbyville, Missouri, passed away November 29, 2024, with family by her side. She entered this life January 23, 1969, the daughter of Gene and Jimmi Lou (Talley) Strange in Norman, Oklahoma. Era was joined in marriage on October 26, 2014, to Ronny Vick.
Era proudly served our country in the United States Army for eight years as a mechanic specialist. She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandma who loved to spend time with her family. Era enjoyed collecting a variety of different items and watching movies. The memories and moments created throughout her life will be cherished by all who knew her.
Era is survived by her husband of ten years, Ronny Vick of Hartselle, Alabama; children: Eric Strange of Trumann, Arkansas, Alex (Letitia) Howard of Kirbyville, Missouri, and Rachel Howard of Youngstown, Ohio; grandchildren: Ariel Sky, Charlotte Rae, Beaux, Cooper, Connor, Jaydyn, and Branston. She is also survived by her dog, Sarge; cat, Spooks; brother, Geneo Strange; sister, Reda Flemming; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
