Dorothy Ann Watkins, Age 71, of Ridgedale, MO, passed peacefully and joined God’s Kingdom Thursday, September 9, 2021. She was born February 19, 1950, in Vancouver, Washington, the daughter of Earl and Janet Bauld. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Janet Webber, and adoptive father, Robert Webber.
Dorothy is survived by husband Ken Watkins of Ridgedale, MO, birth father, Earl Bauld, and family, of Damascus, OR; sister Jackie Lawrence and brother-in-law Bill Lawrence and family, of Kansas City, MO; her children Niki Hargrove and husband Brian of Rogers, AR; Lyle Watkins and wife Tiffany of Harrison, AR; Jason Thompson of Diamondhead, MS; grandchildren Shelby and Emily Howard of Rogers, AR; Josslyn and Jett Watkins of Harrison, AR; Ashely Thompson and Christina Munger of Diamondhead, MS; Jamie Crowley of Austin, TX; and great grandchildren Patrick Thompson, and Sofia and Ed Pagan.
Widely known as the “Happy Paper Hanger” Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife of 45 years, and unforgettable mother, an active and involved grandmother, a sister, an aunt, a friend, a mentor, and advisor.
People were drawn to her magnetic personality. If you met her, rest assured your life was forever touched. She was always good for a laugh, had a smile on her face, and was there when you needed her. She gave selflessly, loved endlessly, lived fully, and will forever be missed.
