Dianna Lynn Thompson, age 65, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born February 18, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Frank Meyer and Ida Mae Holtz. On November 1, 2004 in Cassville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Robert Thompson, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, John Souza of Dallas Texas, Michael Souza of Tampa, Florida, and Haímie Dominguez of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Crystal Souza and Brandy Souza of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Dianna grew up and attended school in St. Louis, Missouri graduating from Southwest High School in 1978. During her career she was employed as a waitress and a housekeeper. Some of Dianna’s favorite things to do were knitting, tending to her flowerbeds, working in the yard, and going to yard sales. She loved going to church, working in the nursery, and telling people about Jesus. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cassville. Pastor Rich Cummings will conduct the services. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
