Diane Hager...

Diane Hager was born January 20, 1941 in San Leandro, CA. She lived much of her life in California, graduating from Washington High School in Fremont, CA and moving to Hollister many years later from Newark, CA.

While living in California, Diane met Jim Hager.  They were married on March 6, 1987 in Las Vegas. Diane was deeply passionate about caring for her family and friends, always offering love support and a listening ear. She was generous, thoughtful and gave meaningful advice. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, coffee enthusiast and lifelong reader. She loved watching crime dramas, and songbirds out of her picture window. Diane had a heart that beat to the rhythm of country music and a soul that came alive on the dance floor. Country music wasn’t just a sound, it was a way of life, filled with stories, laughter and the company of goods friends and her beloved husband Jim.

Diane had a special love for Butterflies, those delicate, fleeting symbols of transformation, beauty and freedom to spread her wings and soar through life’s obstacles. To Diane they were more than just creatures of nature, they were reminders of hope, renewal, and the quite joy found in life’s smallest moments. Just as butterflies grace the world with gentle presence and vibrant color, so too did Diane touch the lives of others, with grace, warmth and quite strength.

Now as butterflies take flight, so does Diane’s spirit, free, light and forever cherished.

She passed away peacefully in Hollister MO, surrounded by love of family and friends on May 26, 2025.

She is survived by her Daughters, Jill Carlton, Pamela Terranova, Anna Hager; Stepdaughters, Kathy Autrey, Debbie Hager; Grandchildren, Anton, Erin, Raymond, Michael, Shamryn, Mikie, Rebecca & Jacob; Sister, Melissa Becker; and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Diane was preceded in death by her Mother, Shirley Johnson and Husband, Jim Hager.

Arrangements are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
