Dave Beeson, age 66, of Monett

David Wayne “Dave” Beeson, age 66, of Monett, Missouri passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.

He was born January 2, 1955 in Fort Benning, Georgia, the son of Mitchell and Joann (Roller) Beeson.  Dave was preceded in death by his wife, Trish; two sons, Podie Beeson and Michael Beeson and one daughter, Katie Beeson.

Surviving are his parents, Mitchell and Joann Beeson of Monett, Missouri; one daughter, Jessica Beeson of Butterfield, Missouri; two brothers, Danny Beeson of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Kenneth Beeson and his wife Anna of Monett, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Brandon Beeson, Aaron Beeson, Tyler Smith, Austin Rivera, Kaden Smith, Addison Elkins, Briston Elkins, Luken Elkins and Aliyah Beeson-Ellis and two great grandchildren, Nevaeh Beeson and Magnolia Beeson.

After graduating from Quartz Hill High School in Lancaster, California he moved to Barry County in 1974 and has lived here since then.  He was employed as a painter by Dale Esteine Construction in Northwest Arkansas for several years.  Dave loved to fly to Louisiana with his coworkers to fish.  Working on the farm he raised hogs and cattle.  One of his favorite pastimes was racing homing pigeons.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.  Reverend Jerry Nickle will conduct the services.
